FYIA Healthy Morning
At Chat-n-Chew we bake fresh daily and are pleased to inform our customers that our breakfast muffins contain absolutely no trans fats.

According to the FDA, trans fat is made "when manufacturers add hydrogen to vegetable oil--a process called hydrogenation. Hydrogenation increases the shelf life and flavor stability of foods containing these fats."

Alba Gu Brath!Scrumptious Scones!

While the origin of the scone maybe debatable, one thing is certain-they're great for breakfast!

Originally, the scone (generally in the U.S., it's pronounced to rhyme with stone) was the name given for Scottish bread made with oats and cooked on a griddle. Today scones come in all sorts of delicious flavors and varieties, sizes and shapes.

Stop by the Chew and try a honey oatmeal, blueberry, cinnamon chip, or cranberry scone---all warmed up and buttery they're great for breakfast or for mid-day tea.
